As there was always a deep-rooted desire in my heart to do something to change the way society is, I was a keen observer and was pained to see that there was injustice in the society on grounds of caste, gender, religious discrimination and denial of constitutional rights to the weaker sections of the society.  I pondered and arrived at the conclusion that the only way of bringing about a change in the society was by being an agent to effect the required change. I tried different ways but didn’t yield positive result. I started tutoring in my clinic. At this point I was suggested by one of my known persons to approach Asha and then I tried to meet their volunteers in Mumbai. I started tutoring  with just 15 students which increased to 150.

We hired qualified teachers to teach higher classes from 8th- 10th. At present, we are teaching kids from 1st- 12th with a student strength of about 250. We offer scholarships too and are inching towards a well- established, independent tuition center. Our long term goal is to bridge the gap between the have and have – nots of the society. It’s our endeavour to bring about an all round, holistic development in an individual by providing information regarding environment, healthcare and making them aware about their constitutional rights who will play a decisive role in nation building.
