Given the initiatives of Municipal Corporation and Govts, opportunities for employment and livelihoods are coming up but in ways different from traditional. As such students were introduced To two components. First to reduce, reuse and recycle waste. Second, use digital tools (Web, GIS, Mobile) to monitor and manage on scale, and in coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- To reduce and eliminate adverse impacts of waste materials on human health and the environment.
- To learn composting at the domestic level and understand issues of scale
- Understand issues of segregation
There were 10 students in this project who benefited from the above. Ms. Nirmala Sawant was the trainer of this part of the program.
